Our Comprehensive Product Portfolio

Bilateral hip abduction brace

A structured orthosis with two leg supports that keeps both hips in a spread (abducted) position to promote healing after surgery or for conditions like hip dysplasia. Custom options: The abduction angle is often adjustable via a central hinge, and the brace comes in different sizes to fit the patient’s waist and thighs.

Hinged ROM hip abduction brace

A supportive brace featuring an adjustable joint at the hip that provides stability while allowing controlled movement in specific directions. Custom options: The range of motion (ROM) for both flexion/extension and abduction/adduction can be precisely set in increments (e.g., 10° for flexion, 1-2° for abduction) to meet therapy needs.

Hip abduction brace for adults

A rigid or semi-rigid orthosis designed to immobilize and stabilize the hip joint for adults, commonly used after hip replacement surgery or for dislocation prevention. Custom options: Many are “universal” with extensive size adjustments and some have interchangeable hinges to switch the brace from left to right or for bilateral use.

Pediatric semi-rigid abduction brace

A sturdy, typically plastic pediatric orthosis that holds the hips in a set position while allowing for some limited movement and easier care. Custom options: Options include standard fixed-angle models (e.g., 90° flexion, 60° abduction) or adjustable models where the abduction can be changed via a screw assembly to accommodate growth or treatment phases.

Soft hip compression wrap

A flexible wrap made of neoprene or breathable fabric that provides mild support, warmth, and compression to the hip and groin area. Custom options: These are typically one-size-fits-most with adjustable hook-and-loop straps to dial in the desired level of compression and fit around the waist and thigh.

Infant hip abduction brace

A smaller, foam-and-plastic brace that positions an infant’s legs apart to keep the hip joint stable for proper development. Custom options: An orthotist will measure and fit the brace to the infant, and standard models come in sizes by weight (e.g., 6-30+ lbs), with some offering adjustable abduction from 40° to 180°.

Advanced manufacturing tech, Low-profile design and Carefully chosen materials

Create More Precisely Fitting, Lighter, and Faster-to-Produce Hip Abduction Braces

The Rigid Frame & Joints: The Structural Backbone

Provides structure and maintains the hips in the prescribed abduction angle. It is typically made from plastics (like acrylic, polypropylene, or 3D-printed materials) or lightweight metal (like coated aluminum).

The Soft Components: The Patient Interface

Thigh and waist cuffs are padded with foam (like EVA or specialized materials such as Active3D™) for comfort and to prevent skin irritation.

Design features: For patients to grow or treatment progresses

Adjustable Anatomic Cuffs, Padding & Liners, Metal Joints, Locking Hinges, and Hook-and-loop (Velcro) Straps allow for precise adjustments (ROM Control, Abduction Settings, Length Adjustment ) to the angle and fit.

Injection Molding & CAD Modeling

The plastic outer shells, uprights, and joints are produced using large-scale polymer injection molding or CAD modeling.

Thermoforming & 3D Printing

The modified positive model is used to vacuum-form a heated sheet of plastic into the final brace shape, which is then trimmed and smoothed. Or 3D printer builds the rigid frame layer by layer

Automated stitching

Multi-needle lockstitch or zig-zag machines are used to create secure stay pockets and bind edges to prevent fraying.

Assembly & Finishing

Soft foam padding, straps, and adjustable metal joints (like aluminum splints) are attached to the rigid plastic shell to complete the brace.

OEM & ODM Capabilities of Your Reliable Hip Abduction Brace Manufacturer

Custom Design (ODM)

Our in-house R&D team works with you from concept to prototype. We can modify:

  • Materials: Upgrade to carbon-fiber composites for ultra-lightweight models, or use antimicrobial-coated fabrics for infection-control settings.
  • Colors & aesthetics: Match your brand identity with custom shell colors, strap colors, and logo placement.
  • Sizing matrices: Develop region-specific sizing (e.g., Asian-fit vs. Western-fit) based on anthropometric data from your target market.

Private Label (OEM)

  • We produce fully finished braces under your brand name—from laser-engraved logos on metal components to custom-printed packaging and instruction manuals.
  • Your packaging design can be fully customized: we support blister packs, carton boxes, carry bags, and bulk hospital-grade packaging with your labeling.
  • We handle barcode registration and UDI (Unique Device Identification) assignment if needed for US FDA compliance.

Trust Building

Three-Stage Quality Control (QC)

Stage 1 – Raw material verification

Every incoming batch of PE sheets, foam, fabric, and metal hardware is tested for:

  • Dimensional tolerance (thickness, width, density)
  • Tensile strength and flexural modulus (for structural shells)
  • Skin-sensitization and cytotoxicity (for patient-contact materials) per ISO 10993 standards.

Non-conforming materials are quarantined and returned—zero exceptions.

Stage 2 – In-process monitoring

  • At each assembly station, operators perform visual and dimensional checks every 30 minutes using calibrated go/no-go gauges.
  • Hinge torque and motion smoothness are tested on a per-batch basis using custom test fixtures that simulate 10,000 motion cycles—ensuring long-term durability.

Stage 3 – Final product inspection

  • 100% of finished braces undergo a final functional test: abduction angle accuracy, strap tension retention, and buckle locking strength.
  • A statistical sampling (AQL 1.5) is pulled for complete checking—including packaging integrity, label accuracy, and instruction manual inclusion.
